Georgetown guard D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera emerged as one of the Hoyas' most dangerous threats on offense during both his sophomore and junior seasons. He averaged 17.6 points per game as a sophomore and 16.3 points per game as a junior, helping Georgetown reach the third round of the 2015 NCAA Tournament.

The home of the future could kill two birds with one bulb
Astro is among the latest startups throwing a quirky spin on a household staple in an attempt to make it smarter. Astro's new smart lightbulbs Twist lights up a room but also doubles as an AirPlay speaker.
While the product sounds like a gimmick — can't lightbulbs just be lightbulbs anymore? — Astro CEO Shaun Springer said it's part of an effort to eliminate the need for devices that take up space and power outlets.

Google's new self-driving cars hit streets of Mountain View
Google took another step toward taking self-driving cars mainstream on Thursday, after the company announced that its new prototype vehicles are already cruising the streets of Mountain View, California
This new breed of car, a two-door pod-shaped vehicle that Google said it built from scratch, was engineered from the ground up to be self-driving

Firefighters played heroes for a dog exposed to smoke in a house fire
Local news station KKTV reports that the fire department in Pueblo, Colorado rescued a pregnant dog after a fire broke out in a home Thursday morning.
