It's not quite a red light special from TLC, but the R&B group is sure to rouse a waterfall of money with their latest stunt involving crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.
Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas — sans Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, who died in a car accident in 2002 — announced that TLC is coming out with a farewell album, the group's fifth studio effort since debuting to massive commercial success in 1992
To complete the album, TLC is urging fans to pledge $150,000 on Kickstarter to fund production. "We'll be doing this together," Chilli said in the video, below. "You guys will be financing our last TLC album. How cool is that?" Read more...
