Lenovo's Next Market Share Showdown And Why It Will Struggle

Lenovo, the Chinese consumer electronics firm that ranks as world No. 1 seller of PCs, has long ruled its home market as government agencies buy devices in bulk and its Android smartphones gain traction. The $46 billion company with a modest pre-tax profit in 2014 also ranks No. 4 for personal computers in the United States, thriving there since its purchase of IBM’s PC business and mobility unit of Motorola, both American firms.

The student who massacred holidaymakers on a Tunisian beach and at a swank resort hotel acted alone during the attack, but had accomplices who supported him beforehand, an Interior Ministry official said Sunday.

Police were searching nationwide for more suspects after the slaughter of at least 38 people in Sousse on Friday, in Tunisia's deadliest ever such attack. The attacker's father and three roommates were detained and being questioned in the capital, Tunis, Interior Ministry spokesman Mohamed Ali Aroui told The Associated Press.

Tyrese Gibson Should Not Be Warner Bros.' New Green Lantern

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely think the next big screen Green Lantern should be the first black DC Comics superhero, John Stewart. Hal Jordan - by way of Ryan Reynolds - had his chance in the abysmal Green Lantern movie from 2011 and he blew it. Furthermore, DC superhero movies (and superhero movies in general (and movies in general (and entertainment in general))) absolutely need more diversity both in front of and behind the camera, and utilizing a character like Stewart is just such an obvious way to do it.

Greek High Wire Act Could Fail Miserably, People To Vote July 5 On Pain By Fire Or Frying Pan

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has effectively resigned from taking any responsibility for the outcome of the tense and tragic debt talks his country is holding with its main creditors. He is giving the Greek a possibility to fall from the frying pan into the fire – there will be pain whatever the choice on a July 5 referendum. The vote is just a week away, just another delay of the umpteenth deadline …It may well be a delay too far.

I love being able to hold pictures in my hands, but I love being able to stick my pictures on things even more.

Sticker pictures are back, and they're more fun to print out than they were before thanks to Polaroid's $130 pocket-sized Zip Instant Photoprinter.

Before digital cameras, before cellphone cameras and before Facebook and Instagram, there was the photo booth. And then for a short period of time in the mid to late 1990s, photo booths from Asia that printed "sticker pics" became really popular worldwide.

It was a much simpler time. Sticker pics let you express yourself and show off your goofy side. They were a precursor to selfies, if you will. Read more...

The 1.4 billion people of India and Pakistan are no strangers to long periods of sizzlingly hot and humid weather at this time of year. The average daily high temperature in Delhi in the month of May is 105 degrees Fahrenheit.

But with nearly 3,000 people killed between the two countries in two distinct heat wave events during May and June, it has become clear to local populations that their governments failed to prepare for and respond to the heat waves. Handle your package with care: An easy guide to manscaping

Junkshaving-thumb

It’s almost a prerequisite: To get lucky in the sack, a man needs to take care of his first. And by that, we mean grooming your boys. They, too, need your attention. No longer a barbaric ordeal — that is, taking scissors to the scrotum or blindly shaving your bits with a razor and face shaving cream — the process of pubic manicuring has become dignified ever since the term “manscaping” was coined a few years ago

"Ladies agonizingly wax and pluck around the bikini line to maintain a sense of dignity that men are slow to embrace reciprocating," Kristan Serafino, a Hollywood hairstylist and beauty expert who's worked with Ryan Reynolds and Matthew McConaughey, tells Mashable Read more...

At The Intersection Of Individualized Insights & Brick-and-Mortar

I love great customer service, and I love receiving relevant email offers that I’m interesting in engaging with. But a terrible experience with a brand will turn me off for a long time. Here’s the thing: I expect a great experience with every brand I interact with. Is this an unrealistic expectation? I don’t think so, and I don’t think I’m alone. In an era where every brand has the ability to provide a desirable customer experience, it’s a mystery why so many fail to do so. Whether I’m in a store, or shopping online – or, as I’ll get into below, doing both at one – I expect a relevant, friendly, and helpful experience.

He averaged 17.6 points per game as a sophomore and 16.3 points per game as a junior, helping Georgetown reach the third round of the 2015 NCAA Tournament.

But, after the conclusion of Georgetown's 2014-15 basketball campaign, Smith-Rivera, a junior, made what appeared to be a poor decision. He opted to forego his senior year and enter the NBA Draft. His prospects for getting drafted were bleak, as ESPN NBA Insider Chad Ford quickly verified via his Twitter account Read more...
