Land Rover now has a remote-controlled car

When James Bond controlled his BMW 750iL via his cellphone back in the 1997 Tomorrow Never Dies film, it seemed far fetched. But now there is a car that does just that

Jaguar Land Rover announced this week a Range Rover Sport prototype, which can be controlled with a smartphone app. As long as the driver is within 32 feet of the car and has the proximity key, it's possible to control the car's basic driving functions. But don't expect to send your car to the grocery store for you. It moves just up to 4 mph and is intended to help you park and navigate rough terrains.
