Why Testing High School Athletes For PEDs Is A Big, Fat Failure

I've said it before, and I'll say it again now that Texas is dropping its statewide program to test high school athletes for steroids: drug testing of school-age athletes is nothing but an expensive flop. On May 29, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed a law killing the state-mandated program, which cost $10 million over eight years for an estimated, whopping 11 positive tests.
