HTC will sell unlocked One M9 in the U.S. early on March 27

Diehard HTC fans based in the U.S.: Here's your chance to snag a One M9 early ahead of the official April 10 release.

Starting on March 27 at 12:01 a.m. ET, customers will be able to buy HTC's new flagship One M9 directly from the company's website for $649.

The One M9 sold online will be unlocked and work on any carrier. It'll come in silver/gold and gunmetal gray.

Each purchase comes with HTC's Uh Oh Protection. The company will replace any damaged device up to 12 months from its purchase date. HTC says the protection plan covers "cracked screens, water damage or a different carrier variant for customers wanting or needing to switch networks."
