Memo To The CEO: Are We Making Decisions, Or Making Decisions Work?

First of all I'd better explain what I mean. Imagine, for example, that you want to invest in a business. One way to do that would be to buy stock in a listed business. In this case, it's all about making the decision; once you have the stock, your options are limited to buy, sell or hold. You have no influence over the business's success.
