The 1980s are back in full force after the world premiere of Kung Fury, a gratuitous action comedy that bathes viewers in nostalgia
Using visual effects to soften the film's clarity and adding in videotape wear wasn't enough for Swedish filmmaker David Sandberg. He wanted envelop the viewer in the '80s by packing in as many retro gadgets, TV odes and techno soundtracks as he could into 30 minutes of screen time.
