NBC is doing its 'Wizard of Oz'-inspired TV series after all

After nixing plans for Wizard of Oz-inspired drama Emerald City back in August, NBC has decided to give the project another shot at success

The network Wednesday again picked up the series, this time helmed by David Schulner (Do No Harm, The Event), for a 10 episode order

Josh Friedman (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) had previously led the project, which is in part inspired by L. Frank Baum’s novels
