At any given moment, a dozen different threads of plot demand your attention. They're all involved stories, too, with unexpected twists and complex relationships. Investing in any one requires focus, so keeping up with more than that can be crippling, especially in the context of The Witcher 3's vast, exploration-focused world.
That's a good problem to have, and one that our hero is well-suited to tackling. Geralt of Rivia is a monster hunter by trade; think Sherlock Holmes, but with more dismemberment.
