Louis C.K. has so far delivered on his promise to make Season 5 of FX's critically acclaimed comedy Louie more "laugh-centric," playing for chuckles at the outset of episode 1.
That's not to say Louie is all sunshine now, however. Our hapless hero's inability to catch a break still informs the entirety of the show, but unlike last season, "Potluck" veers more toward the comic side of tragicomedy. Case in point: It opens with a suicide joke.
